DarkNight Operation In Progress, Industrial Plant Sector 17. Any Operatives to Attend Immediately. Media Bonus Upon Request.

Phase 1

The BPN is obtained by some means while the Squad is out and about. It could come from their financier, or even just come across a fax / phone somewhere nearby, say at the squad leader’s home.The Squad does not have to visit anyone to verify the BPN, they simply must phone in their acceptance to Third Eye News.

Phase 2

The Squad will have little if no problem getting to the Industrail Sector down in the bowels of Sector 17. The bad part is what will happen when they get there. Smoke from several explosions and some small fires here and there can be seen when the characters arrive. Off in the distance, Shivers and another squad of what looks like Operatives are running about, shooting into a large smoking factory. When the characters arrive, they will be approaced by a SHIVER APC with Reaper Cannon mount. The gunner in the turret will challenge the characters as to thier purpose for being in the area. If the characters provide anything that shows they are Operatives of SLA Industries, the gunner on the APC will open up on them. The SHIVERs in the APC are actually a group of Dark Night Interceptors who liberated the APC and its former owners equipment and uniforms from the now missing previous owners. If the characters defeat this group of Dark Night, they can continue on to the factory, as fighting can still be heard.

Phase 3

If the characters go to the factory, they will arrive to find what looks like another team of Ops being held down by Suppresive fire. A member of the group, what looks like an Ebon, is holding what appears to be an injured Shaktar. If the characters attack the Dark Night agents, they will flee into the factory after a couple fall. Inside the factory, they will try to do a quick abush, and then attempt to escape through the sewer system. While inside the building, one of the characters will find some printed out files, or maybe a computer disk, or maybe both. It will contain information on some of the characters in the Squad, top level secrets which may cause some unrest in the squad, and which may have them looking over their shoulder.

End Notes

If the characters by some means should learn that the Industrial Plant was the sight of a Dark Night computer subterfuge raid which accessed files on many Operatives at a level of which only Cloak or above would have access to. The act was discovered and traced back to this plant wear DN was caught about halfway through their download.
